Yes, but give them their own lane. The 70 and up lane. And they need their own roads. Instead of the highway, create a lowway under the highway for the 70 and up. And make all the street signs way bigger. For example, instead of regular stop sign size, make a billboard that say stop. Audio traffic lights that scream goooo! real loud when the light turn green. When it turn yellow a voice come out real loud and say nikka slow down!

My mom drives a stick shift BMW at 75 (no jokes please, this a serious conversation) and works 40 hours a week still. She's more than capable. Meanwhile, another family member of a similar age took her car and flipped it over, pulling out of the garage.
People age differently.
Boomers are about to be the largest demo in the country, you just can't strip them of rights because you think ALL of them are in cognitive decline. What if they live in the burbs and literally have to drive everywhere?
There's a 55 and up community close to my neighborhood and everytime its always 2 of them riding side by side down the two lane which is my biggest pet peeve. To answer the question, the first time they get caught doing questionable shyt they need to be out of there. Fine thier family members or some shyt

yeah, it's pretty insane that there's zero guardrail against the obvious fact that all of us will hit a point where we're unfit to drive anymore. if you can test at the beginning, you can test at the end, too. it's not an "insult"

After 75, you should be getting picked up and dropped off by driverless cars. We're almost there.

About 15 yrs ago I was visiting and riding in the car with my grandma, she was in her early 70s at the time:
We're the yellow car in the below image turning left, she turned into the ONCOMING lane. I had to gently redirect her steering wheel into the correct lane. After I told everybody about that NOBODY wanted to get in the car with her behind the wheel. Plus she couldnt eem look over her shoulder to look in blind spots
