Seriously I'm surprised that of all team that have been mentioned thus far Dwight still insists that the NETS is where he wants to be.

I mean I understand the ownership group may have discussed their future plans with dude and he's on board with everything they proposed but once all these other teams started showing interest i would have expected him to be more open to other destinations by now.

Its obvious he wants the Nets and I don't understand why he didn't go into free agency. Prokhorov will give him some extra dough under the table too. Playing in a big market will add to his money making potential. If they get a third solid player, they can be contenders.

1) Prokhorov would not be dealing directly with Howard. Howard's agent would be the one doing any negotiating

2) Howard is a member of the Orlando Magic until the end of the 2013 season. Any sort of impermissible contact is tampering.

There are several logical reasons for Howard to be hellbent on going to Brooklyn (they're no longer in Jersey) other than conspiracy theories.
