Above the fray.
Yep because their constituents will get violent at these upcoming townhalls. I guarantee if one month of social security checks are delayed or stopped. Damn near every Republican Congressman and women will need security.
There will be a way to appease and distract their voters. People who signed on to MAGA arent the most discerning voters.

That Social Security and Medicare mess that Elon Musk was overseeing have Republicans scared to go to townhalls. So all of this stuff is adding up, especially among the independents that voted for him.
Republican politicians can't stand Trump either but they are pretty much being held hostage by his cult. They would be committing political career suicide going against Trump, UNLESS they start losing elections and the public outcry is overwhelmingly against him. Then they would possibly consider speaking out against him but still not a guarantee. A large majority of politicians don't have an integrity.

:francis:It's too early and they won't do anything. Trump is just too powerful at the moment. They don't care about no damn tariffs or any other issues, they only care about staying in power and not losing their seat. I remember the first time around when a lot of republicans started distancing themselves from Trump when they started noticing that he was a liability to their re-election campaign. It's going to be the same playbook this time around.

Listen to the way they talk about him on TV.... it's on some North Korea shyt....they just fired high ranking people in the NSA because that crazy bytch Lara Loomer said they were unloyal to Trump....then they fired a justice dept lawyer because he couldn't argue that they illegally deported a man to El Salvador with no cause....the guy was a swimming coach and never been charged with a crime...that ship has sailed...you might have Susan Collins and a few more but John McCain is not walking through that door :patrice:
