Somebody told me about the Internet/Social Media obsession in Japan.I'm a psych nerd and I'm interested in seeing how this social media shyt changes people in the years to come.
There's scientific and medical articles that state some have become addicted to social media, narcissism has increased etc
Instant gratification to cheat is evermore tempting and other things just makes social media complete mayhem
It's fascinating really![]()
Nah. Everything changes. Thats the only constant. Change. Myspace was a Monster and it went away. McDonalds is still around but the company is hurting due to peoples change in taste and other competition. 15 yrs ago none of this existed. I won't say it will be gone forever because there is a whole generation dependant onseeing other peoples lives and narcissism is increasing. I can't wait to see what psychological issues develop in people especially women who have banked their whole life and essence on how they look today. Looks change and often fade. All you have is thousands of pics of you in the past to look through and live through.
I mean the depression industry is Major now with pharmaceuticals being produced. Can you imagine in 20 yrs when these women stop getting likes and gotta deal with their insecurity?
I'm on FB, twitter and instagram but I don't share my family or private life at all and don't even go on them but maybe a few times a week. My life doesnt revolve around virtual friends and lovers. Real life already hectic for me and I like being outside and talking to people. Shaking hands making eye contact and all that.
