Do you think T.I. could make good music going the pre-Death Row Pac route?

Leaving the gangsta shyt behind for the most part and rapping about struggle and hood life in a broader sociopolitical context?

He's talented and intelligent enough. He lived it and he's been to prison so he has the experience and perspective.

He needs to reinvent himself anyway. All the super-gangster shyt has gotten redundant and you can only make so many pop records.

Yeah I think so, a lot of his older shyt a lot deeper than ppl give it credit for. Call me crazy and nothing fukks with the OG version of it but I really believe Afeni saw something in TI for her to OK him being on that "Changed Man" joint (which ironically is Pac spitting that Death Row shyt) he got it in him I believe, to lead.
