- smiling in your face while knifing you in your back (is a western world thing)

- being cold hearted and unsympathetic to anothers plight (is a western world thing)

- adopting harsh language and mantras like ie. "dog eat dog world", "nice guys finish last", "rat race" and etc. (is a western world thing)

- etc.

most our favorite people do the treacherous thing look at Jay for example, and the idols he shouts out and his ethos but this is bigger than that.

do you think that the black man has had to learn the unnatural treacherous ways? or we have always been doing it amongst each other too. :ohhh:

if you could provide some examples to prove your point please, props.

Have you been around white people?

That is reality in the west as a whole and not just a "black" thing

i think we have had to learn to be less naturally intuned with our true nature.

i dont believe the black men out here want to be adopting these mantras of "get rich or die trying"

people out here doing anything for a come up and now will straight up take the playbook from the west(aka.white man) and run with it.

20 years ago i believe there was more of a bond between brothers.

2022 its a "fck you pay me" world bro. that's unnatural for the black Gods.

i wouldnt call it that.

being a brutus or benedict arnold type snake is whats popping out here.

black people even celebrating these snakes today, its not our true nature to betray people like that and issue hurt solely for your own come up.

thats a west thing.

real talk only please#

I don’t think it’s racial, just humans being selfish. American values have always been trash, so it just helps breed trash individuals.

i respect this bro.

but its like there is no resistance, check our idols most of them play the roll of "ruthless scumbags".

up until the late 80s it was only good guys we heard from like the athletes and entertainers. now Vlad TV will interview any vulture.

the community props up those who trample their own for a come up ie. big meech and them. :hubie:

You’re right, but if you look at American media as a whole, you’ll see the same pattern. This country was founded on thievery, mass genocide, racism, lies, and a host of other demonic shyt. The foundation was always rotten, it’s only right for the citizens to reflect that.

this is pure power because Dr John Henrik Clarke had mentioned back in the days there was no word for "prison" because no one had ever been sent to one.

so the integration through whatever unfortunate means has meant we have adopted this "ill" behavior. from the West

i know i am not the sharpest blade in the guillotine but i was really thinking why are my brothers always proclaiming the bad guy over the good guy.

sad reflection of the times, props on this bro.

Im saying I don't think their behavior is a product of being black men. They just had a level of interest, and cut-throat perseverance for their careers that most don't have. Throw in some "luck" along the path and probably some deep seated mental health issues from a toxic upbringing that comes out in overcompensating or fear of failure, and you got the formula for a ruthless millionaire

Nas wasn't willing to push his sound to pop radio in order to compete commercially with his contemporaries, including Puffy and Birdman. I think he got burned out with the rat race of the recording industry, made a personal choice that that level of success, or "selling out," is not in his interest, and that he is secure in being the artist he is.

So to answer your question, no I don't believe our culture embraces competitive or self centered entrepreneurship. Nor do I believe we embrace rude behavior. Hell no. We barely embrace financial literacy like we should. If anything I'd say it's the opposite. Look at "new black media." We tend to be hostile and untrusting of people who are financially successful and assume they are part of a hidden agenda or conspiracy.
