I know I'm going to get neg daps for this but we really need to talk about this.
The more I hear about reparations, the less I hear about all the programs available from the federal level to the local level to help people start businesses, buy homes, recreation centers, etc. I'm in the DMV area and there are programs where students can go to college for free. In Baltimore, John Hopkins had a job program where they even offered free rides to city residents and many didn't advantage of it. My question, why is there constant talks on reparations and not of the programs that's currently available? It appears more people are focused on the hope of reparations versus the reality of programs that's available today.
