Fraud does it all the time.

Shot Caller, Im A Cokeboy, NY State of mind, all sampled 90s classic hip hop songs.

They would be sampling songs that sampled songs
Sounds like some Inception type sh.t

I think he means the general idea of 90s songs that sampled tracks, but didnt use straight loops, or original products. Even for the sampled tracks, the original was already cleared, so they will be able to use the sampled material w/o much hassle. Contemporary artists can, more importantly, bite someone's successful remake.

We've seen a lot of 90s RnB sampled by Drake's 40, Charles Hamilton, etc. I think you will see that intensify. Cats will start digging for obscure 90s records, especially old school house.

I'm no fan of Drizzy, but him and 40 uses alot of Aaliyah samples.

For the most part, if that means reintroducing her to this new generation, than :manny:.

But, I still think he's a cornball :heh:

Isn't there a French Montana song all over the radio doing just that?

I was in a friend car, and he had on Hot 97, and they were like here is Kendrick new song "Poetic Justice." As, I was sitting there listening to the Janet sample, I thought this 90s sampling movement is about to really take flight. :obama:

Also, I didn't realize ASAP song with Drizzy and Kendrick, sampled Brooklyn Zoo, because I still can't make out which part was sampled. :yeshrug:
