Do you tip the bag boys at the supermarket?

When I was younger, this bag boy brought the bags to my mom's car and my cousin, who had no intention of really tipping the kid, went to give him I think it was $20. This white kid, probably 15 years old, was all nervous and was like, "I can't take that. It's not allowed." Then my cousin was like, "come on just take it. I won't tell. Come on. Here." Kid was like, ".....ok" and reached to take it from my cousin's hand. My cousin pulled it back and was like, "i thought you couldn't take tips"

For some reason, I dont believe this happened at all. I think u made this up as a failed attempt to be funny and fit in.

I hate going to my neighbourhood Publix and seeing them.

The bag boys I tend to see there are a young black man (teen) and an older man who looks either SE Asian or middle eastern.

I am forever seeing these gentlemen wheel groceries to the cars of white women, some who will be talking on their phones to someone else the whole damn time, when they have these little bitty ass bags in their cart.

I stay wondering why the hell they can't put up their own shyt...like, why do they need this young man or this very old man picking up these bags and placing it in their cars for them when they are obviously able-bodied themselves. I know it says more about me that I get angry seeing it, but it is because I truly doubt understand.

The weather these days passes from one extreme to another, and rather than doing it themselves, they subject someone else to come outside with them to so the work they could have done themselves...it could he hot or cold as hell outside, and they won't even lift a hand to pick up some bags too, to make the job go twice as fast...they just sit there and watch...makes me bristle to see it.
