Do you wash your underwear by hand when travelling? What do you do if you run out of drawers?

This may be a gender thing. If you're a woman and you have an accident during that time....well ifykyk. You definitely have to soak those in the sink.

Plus a lot of female underwear,especially the lacey kind she is wearing, is too delicate for the washer ( though you could get around that). They tell you to hand wash on the tag.

I've grown up with out a washer/dryer at times so yall freaking out about having to hand wash something is a bit funny to me lol But then again this is a board full of men

If I need new underwear, I find a Target, Walmart, etc, and buy a new pack.

There may not always be somewhere available. I’m currently out in the sticks at an event been here all week, no shops near by. It happens. I wash my underwear out of habit.

I've never run out of drawls i dont even know how thats possible. if anything im going commando until I can get to target after the flight. if they're smelling and stanking in my bag then that's not the underwear's fault. op said fermenting which idk... this would suggests that you weren't clean properly before you put them on.. or maybe you wore them for longer than normal without washing

YES. I have an array of undergarments when I travel and don’t even end up wearing half of them.

I don't this, I ain't about to run outta underwear. Even when I traveled with women they always packed extra bottoms, bra could get a extra day out of in an emergency but we would pack and underwear bag with just socks & underwear along with a mesh delicates bag.

I carry a small bottle filled with a no rinse detergent called Soak that I really like when I travel. I'm a minimalist packer that tries to keep everything to a single carry-on bag.

Is it not common for people to hand wash something when there's a potential for permanent staining? Wine spills, chili oil, tomato sauce, blood, menstrual fluids, etc.

I do, and I know several people who do.

This is pre-treating/removing stains, but I don’t throw them on the next day until I actually wash them in a machine.
