"I don't make excuses but it was a tough situation," Austin said. "I got in the night before; I didn't know any plays. I just tried to go out there and play. i didn't play well."

Said Doc Rivers: "Listen, you take a week off, you throw someone in a game with no practice, no shoot-around, you're probably not going to play great. His expectations were probably a lot higher than mine (Friday) night."

I may be the only one doing it....but I'm rooting for Austin Rivers. Based on the fact that I cant imagine the feeling of seeing your son struggle every game you coach :wow:
