He didn’t keep it a buck though. All of the teams Doc has coached since Boston have had championship talent, the issue has been the coaching.

You nikkas talk about them "talking like they were a dynasty" WAY more than they ever do lol. In reality, they almost never bring it up despite having a weekly platform to do so if they wanted to. Yall just see the occasional clickbait headline every couple of years and run with it.

Then they under achieved. No matter how they want to dissect it, 2-3 All-NBA players, 6th man of the year, All-Def, one of top 3-pt shooters, defensive wings, capable vets....they were more equipped than a lot of other teams.

After seeing how all those players careers played out, I don’t know how you could disagree with Doc. CP was the best player on that squad and flaming out in the playoffs is apart of his legacy as a player.

If that’s what your best player is known for, then championship expectations are a too high with real playoff performers like Kobe Bron Dirk and Duncan around.

Doc was just being realistic. That Clipper team was a nice team to watch in the regular season where they could run but none of those guys were the type to get consistent buckets in half court sets against physical defense.
