Where were the nurses? Did they just go along with what he was doing?

When I had my son... It was like 3 nurses in the room and the doctor. Then you add my boyfriend, sister, and my mom. Nobody picked up on that something was wrong? Now I understand every hospital is different with who they allow in the room but where was the nurse?

I have so many questions...

I respect your opinion, but I think you're wrong. If the details are correct, this is a great reason to lose your liscence to practice medicine. He refused to let them have the baby as planned, then refused them going to another hospital. Then he pulled the baby's head off, and stuck in back in the vagina.

As if that wasnt enough, he gives her an emergency c-section before the drugs kicked in, and the article says he surgically finished removing the head. Thats some pretty terrible shyt. And thats still not counting the coverup, which is arguably the worst part. He kept compounding his fukk up, and it got out of hand.

If he just pulled too hard and the head came off, then I think its an arguable point whether he should lose his L. But this goes too far.

the bold was completely unnecessary and seemed like some :troll: type shyt to me. What was the reason for doing that part tho?

:heh:

Keep in mind your only hearing one side of the story. An emergency c-section is usually done in the case of an emergency, meaning the baby was under extreme duress and needed to be delivered ASAP in order to prevent death or neurological damage. Waiting even a few minutes for "meds to kick in" could literally mean the difference between a normal baby and a brain dead one.

Secondly, a 28 week old baby is literally the size of your palm and probably weighs like 2lbs. While decapitation during delivery is extremely rare, it's not "impossible" to think that something like this could occur, given the extreme fragility of a baby at this age.

Again, people just need to relax. Unfortunate things happen everyday, especially in the healthcare field. Unless there was gross neglect or intent to harm the baby or the mom in this situation, disbarring the physician should be the absolute last step in reprimanding this physician. That is assuming this story is anyway accurate. (Which I highly doubt)

You're right, im sure tgere's another side to it, but assuming this is accurate, why the cover up?

Why wouldn't you immediately freak out upon removing a new borns head? If it was pure accident you would have nothing to hide. I would freak the fukk out and cry like a little bytch :to: may get addicted to xanax and fall into a deep depression for a short period of time before regaining sobriety and normality soon after.

There should be no ifs ands or buts about this. Any attempt to read a defense of this doctor makes my head spin which results in a massive headache. How this doctor has not been stripped of his license sure is a headscratcher. This story is crazy, its no wonder its making headlines. Anyone with a good head on their shoulders knows that they should go ahead and sue. Heading over to the head magistrate of their district court is a good place for a head start, because this doctor should be hanging his head in shame.

:smugfavre:

but real talk, I did miss the 28 weeks detail when I first read this. I'm not sure what that changes. I'd like to at least hear the other sides of the story (doctor, nurses, etc)

I read this earlier today, and I cant wrap my head around how a doctor of all people can do this. To pull a baby's head off then attempt to cover it up is mindblowing. im glad some of yall find this funny though. I was there when my homeboy's son was stillborn man and that was the only time I've seen him cry, and this is someone I've know since the age of 13, my closest friend. Losing a child isn't easy at all. I feel for the family, fukk that doctor.
