I bought a 2012 V6 challenger as my first car. probably gonna upgrade later on this year to an r/t because i can afford the note. Honestly, i got props for having the car period. If you on the racing scene and got a v6

Note:

2009-2011? SOHC v6 250hp
(I think this is the one everyone hates)

2012-present penstar v6 305 hp

I respect these guys opinion and they know more about cars than I do, but IRL somebody gonna have something to say regardless of what car you get.

Yeah, I feel you. I dont race and see that's what I'm trying to get across here, I just like to cruise around the block. I dont need to show off or be a speed demon. LOL.

What the coli think about rims on a challenger im thinking 22s or 24s :lupe:

I live in the south and the roads are fairly new.

Idk 24's I'm not a very big fan of big rims on cars, the whole donk thing needs to die out imo. shyt is getting ridiculous sometimes you can ruin the look of the car if the rims are too damn big. the most i would go is 20's but i live in nyc i got potholes to look out for. lol

The look im going for....

:ehh:

it's not a bad look but i prefer enough tire for the road then too much rim. it's nice though but it makes you look like your ballin. I'm trying to go for that nice understated look

My friend got a V6 Challenger and he likes it a lot. He said that he's not used to the gas that it takes compared to his last car. I told him myself that if I was going to get a Challenger I would have to get the SRT-8. He said that he got what he could afford and I you can't go wrong with that. The only thing I really don't like is the interior. I wish they had the same interior that the newer Chargers. But if you was to look in the Challenger, you wouldn't know if it was a rental or SRT-8 really.

I was wondering if anyone got there rims and tires replaced and got it added to the overall price coming off the lot before the final payment. I dont want the stock rims though. it looks like i need to find a dodge affiliate or something.

not only is that engine gay as fukk, but the rims and body styling are also wack. cloth seats :mjpls:
that v6 will look nothing like the SRT8 posted on the first page. even RT's dont look like that :heh:

:leostare: Did you not read the rest of the thread or only the first post because i said V8 first, but V6 if neccessary. You know what's funny I seen alot of V6's done right dust alot of V8's so for all the shyt talking at the end of the day. The buyer gets what is manageable for his pocket. Not break the bank. Do you not realize that I would have to pay a higher rate of insurance on a V8 muscle car instead of a V6? But I guess your better off then me right?
