Does a man need a bonnet to upkeep his dreads/locs ?

I wear a scarf to bed for my hair, you don’t want loose lint accumulating or the pulling on your scalp from loose dreds when you sleep, that can be damaging

You don't have problems waking up with the silk scarf off? My durag was never on when I woke up. I wore a bonnet, but that shyt don't work either.

Nah. Regular durags don't have enough material to cover the length I have (shoulder length). I did see hair socks that tie-back like durags, but haven't seen them in a minute....

The ones I saw were closed at the end, but this is what I'm talking about. Instead of an elastic band, you could tie it.​
