Depends on what you mean by “work harder”.

The person making minimum wage is probably working their body harder (doctors have a pretty physical job, but replace doctor with lawyer and the example may be better). The doctor has certainly spent his whole life working his BRAIN harder.

I actually think the latter is much more difficult from personal experience.

Corporate propaganda really is powerful. And most of the time it comes from people not in it.
If you work in corporate America you know there’s a bunch of low skill dumbasses running around. Don’t let them suits and ties fool you.

it’s filled with dumbasses, legacy hires, good references and nepotism.
Why we ignoring this is referencing doctors, not some asshat running around an office building because their dad was on the board of directors

That's the case in most corporations and the like. Even in the military, the officers do zero manual labour, but there's a reason why the pay disparity between them and the enlisted personnel is so vast.

They're held accountable for ANY and EVERY fukk-up. They can actually get fired, which pretty much kills their career.

The average person in a warehouse is putting in more hours than the average NBA player with no off-season. But the average person can work in a warehouse but the average person can't make a jumpshot in the NBA, it is what it is.

It depends on how you define hard work.

The aspect not really considered is stress. Weight of decisions, requirement to stay up to date with research and developments, managing relationships, liability, professional reputation.

It takes brains to commodify yourself into a business model so you can get off the damn plantation.

Hard work isn't all about muscles and physical strain
yall keep trying to redefine the basic definition of "hard work". it's not about the "impact" or the "brain power" :mjlol: or whatever crap...hard work is always going to be hard work. yall still defining shyt based on ego and job titles. yall just automatically saying a 25k job is easy or it's not hard work because "the brain power doesnt blah blah blah". :mjlol: this thread really is showing how people view workers. like some of yall really sit around looking at people doing all these jobs in America calling them all lazy. while they're paving roads, teaching yall bad ass kids, draining yall septic tanks, building buildings, etc...yall like "that's not hard work though, they're not doctors" :pachaha:
