It kinda is tho

They aren't known for anything of substance..
Tech? Nope
Beaches? Nope
Weather? Nope
Finance? Nope
Women? Nope
Nightlife? Nope

Cheese steaks and Booing Santa clause:francis:

Hmmm lets see...
Location - NJ best beaches within a hour, Delaware beaches 1 hour, NYC 2 hours, Baltimore 2 hours, DC/VA 3 hours...
Weather - 4 seasons... get the occasional snow storm, rarely severe
Nightlife? unlike NYC u don't have to spend a arm and a leg to have a night out on the town...
Colleges? UPenn, Temple, Drexel, Villanova... University of Delaware, Rowan and Rutgers-Camden nearby
THE Medical capital of the country, not even close...

perception vs reality...

You lost your mind if you think Baltimore is influenced by Philly. It's the other way around: Philly is influenced by Baltimore.

:francis:
Philly was wearing dikkies 1st, back in in the early 2000's
Philly nikkas were def wearing sunni beards before bmore
Philly nikkas were also def wearing shell toes before bmore
The above can be argued either way tbh.

Only ones I know - Dirt bike culture, Mens capris shorts and club music(party music) probably originated in in bmore

I didnt say bmore had no influence philly either- my point is that other places dress like bmore people. bmore parts of delaware. and philly not that much different.
I forgot You white so you probably not hip to alot of shyt:mjlol:

I actually like DC.

I don't like how DC wants Baltimore to be part of that DMV shyt. There is no "we" shyt around here. We aren't Wizards' fans, we aren't Redskins' fans, we Don't fukk with Gogo, this isn't the "Capitol Region" or the "DMV." Baltimore does its own thing, we don't ride other cities' coattails.

Other than that, I fukk with DC.
I dont think anybody is trying to include Baltimore in the DMV. The M is for Maryland yes but as in PG and MoCo county. Baltimore is a "world" away from here.

Leasy, I’m respecting your love for your city but stop it. The only thing New York bit was the Cheesesteak, Roast Pork with Broccoli Rabe, and the Philadelphia brand Cream Cheese :wow:. Music?:bryan:

From a personal experience, Philly always showed me love out there. They embraced me, and treated me as if I was born and raised out there. One thing that shocked me was Downtown Philly. The atmosphere reminds me of Manhattan without the tall buildings. Partying with a bunch of white people.

Philly sports fans is some other shyt, but this is a bullshyt comparison. Philly and its culture isn’t influenced by anything other than Philly. Same with NYC and Baltimore.

Breh throwback jerseys was copied from Philly where you think they bought the ducking jerseys breh Mitchell and ness which they still wearing the hats. Jay Z according to Guru has watched Philly rappers on YouTube DVDs since the early 00s he wanted to sign every Philly artist from Major Figgas in down. Kiss said Philly has the best spittas in rap music but we don’t have the business like Atlanta New York. I mean I am not going to debate a nikka who don’t know.

Philly and New York is wayyy different And always been we always clowned New York on their dressing style but it’s always been love. Probably the only big cities that actually get along

Think about it. Philly has 1.5 million people. It is the second largest city on the east coast. Its crazy to think if NYC never existed philly would be a top 3 most talked about place in the country, but since NYC DOES exist, philly isnt even top 10.

Only other city that remotely comes close is LA making San Diego completely irrelevant, but even still Philly is leaps and bounds a better city than San DIego with more history and diversity, yet NYC just makes it a non factor to 99% of people.

Chicago to STL, Milwaukee, Indianapolis and pretty much every other large midwestern city :ehh:

Most people have to remember too is that Philly is small as shyt compared to other cities especially New York Chicago LA. Philly is only 135 square miles as it couldn’t expand its boundaries because it was part of the first settled areas in the country.

LA is 500 plus
NYC 400 plus
Chicago 250 plus
Just for comparison

Philly nikkaz think they started the dikkies trend :heh:

Everybody wore dikkies, but it LA started it. Nobody thought about philly when that trend got hot . You have to be the city that actually started something for you to claim that another city is trying to be like you

Shell toes..:laff:

Everybody wore them too

Baltimore made Air Force ones hot, so that means Baltimore influences philly, and everybody else. Nobody thinks about philly.
