I'm in love with the idea of being
woke up to kids jumping in my
bed with the wife standing in the
doorway holding a cup of coffee and laughing.
but i'm a realistic mutha fukka.
this is not a climate of trust and monogamy.
a woman weaponizing my child is nightmare material.
:ehh:

There are men and women like this. Probably 50/50. They just gotta find someone else who has that same ideal.
Not for me though.

breh being a parent is an even bigger commitment.Legally an 18 year old commitment. And it never gets easy
and......... people raise kids on their own everyday
not even a 18yr commitment should be a lifetime commitment
marriage or a relationship is not necessary to raise a child
some may argue a marriage is better when raising a child
but plenty of responsible people do raise children on their own by choice or by circumstance

I can never willingly want a life where my kids are going between households. The whole thought of "moms week/dads week" or having to keep up with half my children's lives via phone, man that is crazy to voluntarily sign up for that type of life. Ideally, children should grow up around two loving parents. I'm certain that goes a long way towards them building relationships as they become young adults themselves. Humans are naturally social creatures, and while we're not required to be social butterflies with strangers, I see no need to purposefully separate our family group.

Plus it's cheaper to support one household versus two.
