I lurked for a year, laughing at things, then I read @Buckeye Fever basketball thread. I laughed for a week then eventually signed up.
Trust me, I like Hip Hop and soul music as much as the next guy, but i'm an old soul. Came for the laughs, stayed for the conversation.

I don't remember that many rappers protesting or rapping about the Gulf War.

I think what inspired so many songs was the draft and the fact the youth had to fight a war against their will.

I meant to say Bosnian from 93-95. We are talking about the best music to come out during those war eras..90s hip hop is the goat genre of music ...so naw..Vietnams era of music isn't even fukking with that..it's not even fukking with 80s hip hop or any era of hip hop for that matter
