Does anybody else feel really uncomfortable around other people's children?

I don't like being around other people's children for this reason. I just ignore them

But for what its worth, kids like me. I don't blame parents though because there's clearly alot of sickos out there

I remeber there was a male counselor at my summer day camp who was great with kids. He was much nicer, playful, patient,lenient than the female counselors. I was about 7/8. My mom would drop my sister and I off very early (b/c she had to go to work), we were the only two there and the man was there along with a female counselor.He would play board games with me (and my sister if she wanted to play) until other kids arrived. I would talk to him sometimes (I don't remember about what) & he would compliment me by calling me smart, & well spoken for my age ( I was kind of advanced which is why I skipped some grades). One day the lady counselor saw him tickle me (by poking my neck). After he left out of the room, she called me over to her. She sounded kind of angry or something. She told me to never let a man tickle me. I was confused about why she was so angry. Adults tickle kids all of the time. My grandpa and my dad did it all of the time. She made me very uncomfortable. (Just to be clear, he tickled kids all of the time & would do a rocket ship type of thing with the little 3/4 yr olds, he was very playful, it wasn't anything creepy). I didn't figure out what she was talking about until weeks later. I had seen movies/shows about pedos before, but still didn't understand what she was talking about. In the movies that I had seen, the pedos were touching the kids privates and tricking them out of their clothes to take nude photos of them. That guy didn't do that, all he did was tickle me just like my dad/grandpa did. I think someone said something to someone about him because he didn't work there the next summers that I went there, but idk.


I remember one of the counselor's teen sons worked there. He used to play dodge ball with us and let us tie him up with jump ropes and abuse him. The teen girls who worked there were mean and bossy.

But, anyway, everytime I think about that lady, I get annoyed/irritated.
