Does anybody else owe taxes every year?

wtf man, what am I doin wrong? I gone to an accountant, used turbo tax, got my taxes done free at the local library and every year I owe. I even have write-offs and nothin matters. I stay owing. And it gets bigger every year.


Everybody in my circle and around me get some thing back. I'm the only one that seems to owe every year.

Your exemptions may be the issue. There's too little taxes being withheld from your pay check.

I don't file exempt except around bonus time which is only once a year around xmas, other than thatl I claim two allowances most of the year. And then one sometimes

I claim 0, because I invest into the stock market and make money off of that; the shyt balance out.

U have a spouse or kids? If not, that means u supposed to file as a single person. This is why its saying u owe. U cant say u head of the household with no spouse and other dependents.

Do the IRS give u time to pay or do they want a lump sum? Just curious because I file 0 because I don't want to have to owe shyt back.

I always end up owing a couple bucks in maryland state taxes.

open up an LLC on the side of your "main" income
write off as much as you can (a part of your rent if you have a dedicated office space, gas, food, clothing, etc.)
you'll be ok

I don't know. I don't mess around. I just pay them right away. It never been higher than a stack

Unless you're jerkin' yourself out of write offs, why not? Why would you want someone holdin' your money when you get nothin' in return?
