Hmmmm….great question
-Obviously older, but a great example was Denzel when he was YOUNG. He has movies from 1980 before most of us were born. But he had movies…his Spike Lee era.

“Mo Betta Blues”. Handsome and RUGGED. My ex was pretty similar to his character looks and attitude-wise. We were actually somewhat similar as well.

Anyway. He was also in some movie with an Indian actress and in “The Mighty Quinn”. Same thing. Cute but rugged. When his old movies are on tv I just throw them on to look at him
-Tom Hardy isn’t a pretty boy, but he’s cute. But his appeal is that he’s rugged and manly. “Mad Max Fury Road” was Tom Hardy at his finest.
-Joe Manganiello
-Kofi Siriboe
-Laz Alonzo
-TI (!) way before he began pretending to be an intellectual and fell off (not to mention the weird stuff he was accused of)
-Lamman Rucker
-Lance Gross
-Trevor Jackson
-Michael Ealy (not my type, but fits the description)
-Big Sean is fine. Not rugged, but not a “pretty boy”.
-Henry Cavill (literally looks like his face and body were sculpted by the heavens)
-Boris Kodjoe (I’ve mentioned him around here before lol). He’d get it all.
-Rege Jean Page —I’ll admit he isn’t rugged; more regal. But he doesn’t come off like a pretty boy. Very cute and dignified.
-Yahya Abdul
-Pooh Shiesty (obviously don’t like what he represents but he’s absolutely adorable)
-James Marsden (If you’re watching Westworld you know him). The girls would know him from “The Notebook”. In that movie — he was everything.
This is a comprehensive list.
Basically fine but mixed with some roughness/ruggedness.
An example of someone who is rugged but not necessarily “fine” is Jonathan Majors. Lots of masculine energy. That’s the energy young Denzel seemed to have.
I appreciate a rugged man.
