sickle cell is basically a serious iron deficiency..... reason its mostly black folks that get it is cause we need more iron than other groups of people....

I have the trait so I never bothered with malaria vaccines. Will have to watch who I have kids with obviously. I understand it's a 25% chance of your partner has the trait as well.
