I worked 7 days a week in my 20s; multiple jobs. That shyt is for the birds. I work 10 hour days now.

I crack my laptop open and answer a few emails Saturday and Sunday, but officially working or going into the office to catch up is rare for me.

I work 7 days a week. 7 days 12 hours for 180 days. All straight pay. It’s good and bad. I work 90 days on and 90 days off. When I’m off, no pay. Sucks for the family because I’m away from them. We love the money though.

Honestly, I don’t think I can go back to the 9 to 5 grind. I had training for two months at home. It was from 8-5 20 miles from my house in South Dekalb. An hour of commute each way. I get home at 6, dinner with the babies, bath time, clean up dishes and living room. By the time I have time alone with the Wife, it’s almost 10pm. Have to wake up at 6 to do it again.

I think if you do the math, I work less than my 9-5, 48 week brethren. Working for 90 straight days and being away from the family is tough, but the good outweighs the bad.
