Does anybody like Jeru's Wrath of the Math album?

It reached its 20th anniversary yesterday so I just listened to it again this morning.

Although it isn't as good as The Sun Rises In the East I still think this album is pretty good. DJ Premier's production is great of course and so is Jeru's rapping. He even received a Hip Hop Quotable for his first verse on Scientifical Madness.

I always felt lyrically and production wise it was. The flow dropped off but

Loved Sun Rises better as a whole, but Wrath has my favorite Jeru tracks in One Time and Invasion.

Saw Jeru live last year in a small venue in Holland. He tore the stage up. Great great show.

IMO that might of been the second or third dopest rap album of 1996.

Rhymes= destructive
Verses= poisonous mixing wu tang lite lyrcial heavyweight mcing with lakim shabazz style consciousness and 5% wisdom.

classic Premo production that brought out the best of Jeru on the mic. Quite possibly the Hardest Premo beats ever outside of Gangstarr.

Dissed Diddy and Bad Boy hard on "Tha Bullshyt" too.

Love it. Another great album after "Sun Rises..". Didnt skip a beat
as far as quality IMO. At least equally as great IMO.

About to listen to The Sun Rises In the East tonight

It was an opus like come clean and a few other variables from being just as good.
In regards to come clean it was no way to follow it up because that is the apex of rap records and arguably one of the best debut singles in every facet in the history of rap and imo, music as well.
On a few records because of bpm changes and sonic landscape changes.
he struggles but given the distinct change in style from the technical revolution from the styles era.
Where outside of Redman he could arguably be the best guy.
You can look past that because of how high quality it was.
One of the better followups in rap history.
