...Jeru is super underrated and way ahead of his time:salute:

check out the cover of The Sun Rises in the East with the burning twin towers:ohhh:years before that happened...although the towers were attacked in 93' it was unsuccessful and it didn't actually burn like that

...plus

that track 'the bytches' from The Sun Rises in the East got him a nice little beef with none other than the Fugees...that track Zealots off the score was definately a jab at the gawd

He responded on Wrath of the Math with a classic diss of the Fugees in 'Black Cowboys'

"I heard some MC's want to bring it
But a female is one of their strongest men
When I step to you don't seek refuge
Make it happen, fukk the rappin'
Because I know I got that sewed
The first time I ever touched the microphone it glowed...":whew:

...just dope NY 90s Hip Hop shyt:jawalrus:

my fav joint was when he did that
crooklyn dodgers track-a true classic:blessed:

One of my favorite rappers. I don't see many people talk about him, but I think he's dope. My uncle put me on to him about 15 years ago when El Presidente came out and I went back and listened to his older stuff and even have Divine Design and Still Rising. But I do think Wrath of the Math is his best.
