That’s the C&O joint. One of my mentors rides that shyt like biweekly. Usually has one or two of his crew park where they plan on stopping and not doing an out and back. When I did it, we did a point to point and started in Leesburg to L’enfant plaza. From what I remember, the inclines weren’t bad going back East but you could tell they were terrible going the other way
I’m planning on riding this trail next week.
Do anyone have any tips to make the ride more smoother?

Copped a Scott Addict 30. That joint GOES! Went from avg about 11-13 mph on rides to now hitting 16s. Price tag wasn’t no joke but worth it

By a local guy out here in the bay. There's plenty of reputable builders online, but I preferred a face to face relationship personally.

It’s illegal to ride your bike on the sidewalk
Good exercise but a stupid expensive hobby. I have no clue why either, some sports just get the "pass time of the upper middle class" stamp then automatically everything gets stupid expensive like motorcycling.
