Does anyone else feel that Alchemists comeup is kinds strange?

Now i ain't gonna front... Alchemist is edging towards being one of the best producers ever in my eyes but there's a weird background around him and some shyt he gets away with that I can't let slide.

Hes fathers a Jewish man, astute businessman and alch was born in Beverly Hills, whatever we all know this, but this just the foundations.

Even tho he was with the soul assassins he really made his big time come up when he moved to NY and somehow got in with the mobb. They thought he was Feds but nah he wanted to just make classic music, alright cool.

This dude is the only guy that samples the most obvious 2-8 bar loops and has never caught a lawsuit in his life... Ends up djing for ems crew etc etc whatever right.

At this point he's just looping shyt.. Adding effects with his hardware and calling it a day... He's literally running on autopilot because he knows he can sample a loop with no drums and everyone's gonna eat it up.. Cos he's already established right..

I dunno man but to me.

How is he getting away with just looping samples with no added drums to the shyt even... I once saw a Q&A with him and someone asked how do u get away with sampling what u sample... My man's answer was "do what u do and let the lawyers handle that"
..

he goes through different eras of beats. he did a lot of shyt with drums and no samples as well. I also like that part of his catalogue.

I love alchemist and he is prolific but if the measure is who has the best bodies of work. he's not close to either of those guys classic lp's

it's one thing to construct bangers and another to make a classic single, remix and album. both those guys have all those. Alch has bangers and dope collabo tapes but no classic albums. For example look at what he did with Freddie vs Madlib and Freddie. Alc is more like here's a beat tape.

1000% sure he cleared them james brown hated sampling at first but after awhile he was clearing shyt left and right after working with some rappers. if its after he died then the record wasnt big enough to get on their radar.

you not getting sued usually unless you making bank off the record anyway.
