The internet has its own culture, celebrities, movies, language, and currency.

Sometimes I feel like the internet is it’s own world and that it should be treated as such.

Other times I feel like the internet is a facet of real life.

I’m in the company of those that see the internet as a separate entity. However sometimes these worlds collide and shyt can get confusing.

I can see the world becoming like that Bruce Willis flick surrogate in like 50 years

The world on the internet i see and hear is what i don't see outside and that would be

1.. Every nikka and bytch are CEOs of some business according to their social media page

2.. Nobody has less than $100,000 in their account

3.. Everybody is a 9 and 10 and fukking somebody who is 9 and a 10

4.. Almost 80% of dudes and chicks on youtube got the answer on how to pick up a woman or man but for some reason they have no one

5..nikkas online got the answers for the black community, but for some reason they not in the hood helping out at least 1 black individual

I just take 70% of shyt online as a joke

Other 30% in terms of getting out of debt or fixing things around the house is helpful

That’s what I’m thinking we gotta treat it as. However it can still impact your real life to a degree which is why I’m on the fence

This is true

Its a very weird entity with it’s own marketplaces, black market, subcultures, reference and pop culture.

It’s a world with many little worlds and cultures that some cant access or understand.

You can manipulate people, spread agendas or change your life off the internet.

I was thinking about something similar a few days ago.

If you think back, your "group" was pretty isolated from other groups and folks more or less got along.

Then came a group that doesn't look like you and friction is introduced.

Before the internet, we were pretty integrated and there was more potential tension/friction, but at least you could go into the sanity of your own home and away from the outside world.

With the internet though, you're interacting with strangers/other groups in your own home and bringing that potential friction into it. As another breh stated, people "blow up" facts about themselves online. It's almost like they're presenting another world that doesn't coincide with reality.

That said, there's useful information and folks who can help you out on it too that are being genuine.

It's really no difference between it and watching a ton of TV. The potential danger/friction is and has always been the interactions at it's worst.

One of the keys to tech innovation is understanding how physical reality differs from digital reality and where they meet...and where and how they can interact with each other

So yes , but it's an abstract concept that most won't really care to understand

The internet is a gateway to a different paradox. On the internet, 80 percent of users are above average intelligent with million dollar looks and troll game out of this world. Outside the internet, they are worthless knuckle dragging morons without a bit of self confidence within themselves. Your's truly is a mayor of a metropolis on the internet, but a sloth ass family man in the real world. The internet is what you want it to be and a place to be who you truly want to be:blessed:
