Does anyone else get the feeling that Quentin Tarantino is a racist?

the only problem I have with his use of the word nicca is that its always random and doesn't add anything to the story. Like in Resovoir Dogs, that joke just comes from nowhere and the dead nicca storage scene in Pulp Fiction was just status. Someone enlighten me, does he use other racial slurs like spic, kike, wetback etc as much as nicca in his other films?

This is true...he's prolly a little racist on the low but then again who isn't? Most people are at least a little prejudiced on the low one way or the other. He's obviously got no problem hiring black actors in his movies and not just in token roles so he's alright in my book. What u gonna do start boycotting him cause his characters say nikka?

It doesn't necessarily have to add to the story. Sometimes dialogue can tell you something about the motives or personality of a character. And some white folks use the word ******, whether you like it or not. I don't see why that should be censored, especially if we're not censoring words like wetback, fakkit, and gook. It's hypocritical.

Honestly, I'm far more offended by two-dimensional portrayals of racism like Crash or The Blind Side or whitewashed stories like The Help than a white character in a movie using the word ******. Or even the word ****** being wiped out of new editions of The Adventures of Tom Sawyer.

plus, he and the rza are good buddies, had him score his flick (first original score he ever used) and put his name behind his movie after mentoring him. jackie brown is another example. dude just pushes the boundarys. im sure plenty jews were upset at inglorious b*stards too
