Amare would be one other guy, Lin makes 2 other guys. And Amare is a post player. His shots can easily be reduced by not passing him the ball (see 2012 NBA playoffs). Amare took like 6 shots one game against Miami.

You can ignore Linsanity and act like it didn't happen but I'm not blind. I saw the Knicks become relevant for the first time this century and it wasn't because of Melo.

My confusion is with your belief that you know how people feel and what they're thinking, and the logic you use to come to these conclusions.

First you said the comments didn't "feel" sincere and you didn't "sense" he was being honest.

Then you said it's because he's been playing a certain way for 10 years and Lin wouldn't facilitate that, and that's why he feel that way. Which one is it?


There could be an array of potential reactions to the timeline of events that you listed. The reactions that you believe Melo would have are those of someone who is insecure. Do you think Melo is insecure? And if so... based on what?

Put it this way... Do you think Nowitzki, Durant, or Kobe would feel the same you believe Melo feels if in the same exact situation?

These are all players who need the ball in their hands and are high volume shooters, just like Melo.

It got out-of-hand toward the end of the season. That is why it got out in the media. This is something that happened (in the) third or fourth week of the season, that was going on, and nobody knew about it because the players kept it under wraps. Until we went on that losing streak and guys started to speak up and speak out about certain things...It is as bad as I've ever been around, honestly. -Didn't Melo say on multiple occasions that he wants Jeremy Lin back?
-Didn't Melo say that their relationship is good?
-Isn't Melo the one who lobbied for him to get on the court in the first place?
