I had a ringtone in like grade 8. Silent or standard Samsung ringer
I have tweets for my text and Twitter notifications though
I had the Navi from Ocarina of Time "Hey... Listen" for my text notifications for a little minute.

Breh all you have to do is go in Settings and then Sounds and click Vibrate on Silent to off.
I have a cheapass generic ringtone on my HTC phone
It's called "Pendulum" or some shyt and it's probably one of the most annoying things I've ever heard. I could change it but the alternatives are not any better (I'm also too lazy to look for a proper tone), and the shyt kinda grew on me

I use the sound where snake gets a phone call for the ring tone. For texts, i dont even think i use a sound. Gets annoying after a while. The sound of the phone vibrating is enough.

Im not going to lie to you, friend. I tried that as a text alert. It lasted about 3 days before i heard it one time and looked at my phone like.
