All I said you need to have faith in yourself. Meaning that you need to believe in yourself. Believe anything that you want to accomplish is possible. Nobody isn't forcing their ideas on you. I didn't tell you need to believe in God nor did I compel you to believe in my religion. You are talking out of context, and you let a simple statement rile you up as if I tried to dictate your life. What people need to do is acknowledge when they DO need some help. Nobody is successful all on their own. Overall, you don't just "put your future in the hands of faith"...you gotta give your prayer something to work with. Even with prayer, the word says "each one will carry his own load" and "faith without works is dead".
(again) prayer ain't a magic trick, it's an enhancer. I'll even admit people don't have the balanced view of it that's necessary. Sometimes (to paraphrase Ice Cube), you gotta:
