no, but i've been to ireland a number of times and i have a female friend that was into camougie (hurling for females) and she put me on to it. so, one year when i was in galway on an off day, i went to the town centre and purchased a hurly stick. then when i came back to the states i ordered another. and when i was in the UK, some british gentleman was low key insulted because i took interest in an irish game so he went home (which was right down the street from my gig) and brought back his son's field hockey stick and gave it to me as a gift with the message...
now, go learn a proper english game
funny guy. we still friends to this day...
