I don't hate it but I do sometimes feel like I'm a cog...but I also don't do the rat race lifestyle or try to keep up with the kardashians.

This. I took a 50% pay cut to get my job. I work OT every week and the pay is as bad as the hours but I wouldn't trade my job for triple the pay. I plan to do it until I die. Hopefully I die working.

They recognize all of your accomplishments and advancement in the company is SO easy. The pay is great and working from home is just the icing on the cake

Hated my last 8-5 () because of the people instead of the job itself. Work is always stressful because other people and their bullshyt instead of the work itself. At least it has been for me.

I can say I'm at the best job I've had in terms of pay and time. The fact that I got my feet wet in the IT field which when combined with my social skills in a awkward antisocial nerd ass industry will take me far. Plus I'm a night owl and my schedule being 10-7 means I sleep in. It's not my end goal but I am content for the next year or so

Correct but there simply aren't enough black entrepreneurs out there. The deficit is so bad that every fukking black should try to be one. And there is nothing wrong with working 9-5 as long as you, "mind your own business". This means you should be trying to turn your earned 9-5 income into passive or portfolio income, fukk a 401k and all that. If you're wealth isn't generational and you aren't making any attempt to do so, you are loosing at life. Also, micro businesses are all the rage these days and don't require much effort. Blacks who enjoy working hard and making and other people rich without even attempting to figure out a way out of this shytty cycle gets the from me. Investing doesn't have to be like gambling if you don't want it to. It can be very boring and mythological. Why people don't just start mimicking the rich vacation and their ideals and philosophies instead of trying to make some socialist shyt work is beyond me. That's right, y'all goneearn when automation hit.

I don't really think about it all like that, but my shyt mad lax as I deal with finances and numbers, and I very good with math, so it doesn't really seem like work. I sit at my desk some days nervous because I feel like i'm stealing
Now my part time with Nike..............they could keep the check and I'd still go in, but I'm in to sneakers and stuff so that's a no brainer. Find something you like to do, or at least don't mind doing, and your job won't seem like such a chore.
