Does anyone know why TPAB has more critic reviews on metecritic than every other album?

I'm not a fan of TPAB at all... but LIG is like 8th studio album from Nas... obviously less ground breaking than the 2nd from Kendrick. Untitled was 8 years ago and we know the internet wasn't the same back then... finally MCHG was from Jay and supposed to be some kind of concept art type album. Look at the cover and the themes. It was actually the closest album to TPAB that you've mentioned so far.
So are you claiming that critics reviewing TPAB more than any other album isn't weird?

For whatever you are claiming TPAB is still hiphop which is no where as big as white folk making music.

Arcade Fire has more, what's your explanation for that? Beach House has more, Frank Ocean has more, Daft Punk has more, Vampire Weekend has more, I can guarantee you that Bon Iver will have more when they drop, the last album which came 5 years ago had 43. Random ass bands like The Knife, who debut outside of the top 50 on the billboard has 43, they are hipster favorites though.

I just told you the more indie heads that feel you and the broader group of people that feels you, the more reviews you'll have.Just an example Run the Jewels has more than anyone on your list except Kanye. The people I'm mentioning are the alternative crowds favorites.

It's pretty simple logic, why do cats hate to analyze shyt on this site, you don't need descriptive statistics to understand the reason.

:dwillhuh: Why would indie heads feel Kendrick? He's pure mainstream.

Frank Ocean has 1 more review from a super hyped album where he closed the Grammys on the day it dropped.
RTJ doesn't have more reviews unless I'm looking wrong.

I'm not looking up that white shyt you referenced.

Anyone who is into the music scene know critics hate pop albums. Views, Anti and Lemonade are pop. Plus tpab being funk, jazz and incorporating live instruments is bound to catch the attention of music enthusiast. Every music hipster I know prays to people like Miles Davis.

TPAB has 44 professional reviews

Lemonade 33
FHD 17
Views 31
Anti 31
TLOP 35
25(Adele) 34

For over a year Kendrick Fans have been saying how this is the most critically acclaimed hiphop album ever but why did all these publications rush out to review a Kendrick Lamar album and none of the other big releases in that time span

Spooky
Because it's a good album and publications use reviews to generate traffic to their site.
