Didn’t Jay launch tidal at 56 million and sell for 350 million years later

Turning 56 million dollar investment into more than 350 being considered a failure is nuts but it’s the coli so I get it

I always hated the interface and only really got it to listen to Jay’s catalogue…once that moved to Spotify I dumped it and never looked back

It still exists, nikkas just stopped hating on it now that Jay no longer owns it.

Make of that what you will :ehh:
This. The threads are still on here of nikkas saying how horrible it is compared to Spotify and Google Music at the time. The majority of the nikkas who hated on Tidal never used it when I would press them for it.

But magically when Jay sold it they no longer felt the need to criticize the platform :mjpls:

Great service, especially when it comes to lossless quality. Also they give artists 2x to 3x more money per stream than the other major streaming services.

That alone is enough for me to support.

After Joe Rogan would never support Spotify, and I prefer the interface to iTunes and Amazon Music.
So 0.02 cents? :gladbron:

I work for Spotify via the Ringer but I still use Tidal because I used to work Roc Nation and got used to it.

Tidal actually sounds better than any other streaming service IMO so for music I use Tidal. Tidal just has little features which make it better if you're fan of music. There's categories for what someone was credited on, produced, written or did background vocals on. Like say I'm listening to Brian McKnight You should be mine featuring Mase with Kelly Price on background vocals......I can see every song in which Kelly Price wrote on, every song she did background vocals on, every song she's feaured on and her individual catalog and there's playlist for that.

They also see Just Blaze's production catalog or anything he's written and there's a playlist for that.

Spotify is the best because they have everything tho......podcasts, music and audiobooks but for music Tidal is better than all of them.

I don't care for apple music to be honest.
