Thad has looked terrible so far this training camp, by all accounts.
And Manuel has looked like garbage--balls in the dirt and sailing over receivers heads.
To be fair though--EJ is much better in pressure/live game situations than practice (as far as reports from practice go).
But make no mistake--jobs are on the line this year in Buffalo. The coaches wouldn't say it in a million years, and most of the hacks at the Buffalo News or Chris Brown, the mouth piece of the team itself, would probably not say it for fear of losing access to the team, but Manuel's on a short leash this season.
6-10 for a 5th straight year is surely going to mean the end for:
Russ, Littman, Overdorf, Marrone, Hackett, Whaley, EJ, Mario, Dareus, Spiller, Kyle Williams, Moorman, Fredex, and on and on and on.
It's all or nothing this year. THATS why Whaley went out and got Watkins. Either it works and the Bills make the playoffs and that first rounder is the 24th pick that doesn't matter... or the Bills suck, Whaleys fired and the Bills not having a first round pick doesn't matter to him.
Can EJ deliver? Personally, I have no freaking idea!
