I think what cancel culture is.... it's a distraction.
It gets the left to get an angry at things that do not directly affect people's lives.
Imagine if a tsunami of cancel culture people demanded UBI or Monthly stim checks, or getting money out of politics.

I think what cancel culture is, it's well to do people who are in a comfort zone.
They are not hungry, they not living paycheck to paycheck, they don't have 2 or even 3 jobs, some of them are housewives with no job, and of course none of them are being persecuted by violent racist cops.
And so they do not make an attempt at empathy for people in such situations, they are all too disconnected from struggle.

And sometimes even it is a mockery of the oppressed.
Take the old TV show the golden girls for example, the network removed an episode where the golden girls came out with mud on their face. You know like face mud that you put on your face when at a spa for skin treatment or at home.
Well the mud was brown, so the network removed that episode because of blackface.

Anyhow, I think there are hints of racism possibly at a subconscious level when it comes to cancel culture, and I think it represents a threat to society as well.

Idk why y’all act like ‘cancel culture’ is something new. If you piss people off as a public figure then you’re gonna lose support. This has played out in literally every society from the the dixie chicks getting blackballed to someone in the Middle Ages getting killed for following a ‘wrong’ religion. The only difference today is that social media makes it easier for us to complain. And people bytch about UBI and politics all the time, idk where you been.
