So, after seeing Nick Cannon's controversial post, where he compared Chris Brown to a Tupac/Michael Jackson (see below), it got me to thinking - does Chris Brown have any classic albums or songs?

I mean, I ask because maybe, Im out of touch. Im early 30s, so I grew up on MJ and Pac. But, I try not to be "Mr. In My Day Eveything was Better!" - I can appreciate great music and great artists, but I can't wrap my mind around Chris Brown being great. But again, maybe it's because I didn't grow up in the CB era, even though I feel that great music transends generations...anyway, what is the consensus?

Damn. When I think about it, not one song stands out to me.
Just moments like him defending himself against the Umbrella Ella chick, crying on stage during his MJ tribute, and the baby outta nowhere incident. :ohhh:

Does he have any classics/huge hits that will be remembered like how Billie Jean, We Will Rock You, Dear Mama and When Doves Cry are remembered? Hell no.

Does he have classic songs for his career type? As much as I dislike dude, I think so.....

With You, No Air and Crawl are probably his best songs.....I almost threw up just typing that out because I hate giving a fukk nikka props, but I gotta recognize good music when I hear it (even if it's moreso the writers/producers than him).....

Run It, Kiss Kiss, and Don't Wake Me Up were also good, catchy songs that can probably be played in a club 20 years from now.....

Chris and Trey are my nikkas and are arguably the most popular R&B nikkas in the game but none of them have either a classic album or a genre defining single under their belt. Maybe Loyal.

It's strange.

I'd argue Kaleidoscope Dream is a better body of work than either of the two have ever made. Weeknd's first shyt changed the game. Bhris Breezy though :patrice:
