When thinking somebody is a troll which one helps you make that decision more?

A low number of daps and heavy posts or deep in the red?
All they define is popularity. A lot of horrible posters have high reputation and good post to dap ratios. It just means you have enough people that fukk with you enough to co-sign everything you do.

Honestly, what makes a good poster? There is a lot subjectivity that goes into just that.

Some posters here think someone is a bad poster while I may think the are decent posters. :yeshrug:

personally i look at workrate (posts per day)

if someone is a casual poster, vaguely positive stats are good enough

but if someone is making 400+ posts every month??:sas1:
they better have stellar stats
because it is so much easier to be in the dap/rep mix with high workrate:sas2:
think about it- same people grab a spot on first page of damn near every thread
same people get 5-10 fukking posts on a new topic before the casual posters can even check it once
if you're always skiing on fresh snow, you should have the fastest times:patrice:

if you come in on the 8th page of a 14 page thread
you gotta have stellar material to even get 2-3 daps :flabbynsick:
where active posters can drop a :mjcry:-face back on page 1 and get 5 daps
the worst is the "say common-sense, neutral things with neat and tidy paragraphs on first page of every other thread" posters
i mean, way to take risks and break new ground for the discussion :beli:
but it racks up +rep nonetheless

i mean, it's cool- it's just an internet message board- everyone can cook, do you, etc.
but if people want to openly pay homage to themselves, i'll be petty enough to point out the flipside of it:manny:

I think rep is good to determine if a person is a troll because they'll be deep in the red, but dap/post ratio is better for those not in the red. The best posters usually have a good dap/post ratio with a lot of posts & aren't in the red
