The Princeton offense that David Blatt installed in the preseason, they just threw that out. What typically happens—and this has been happening for like three months now—is LeBron will take the ball, and LeBron will call the play. David Blatt will see what play LeBron calls, and he will repeat it to the team. That happens on a regular basis.

I've heard analyst saying that Bron has become sort of like an NBA version of Peyton Manning, calling his own plays, or switching up plays as he sees fit.

Considering blatt had expectation once moves were made...he held up well without cracking. In football...coordinators do the heavy work while coach is motivation and timeout guy. Sometimes basketball locks in on the head coach too much.

No, Blatt is a rookie head coach that learned on the job and proved himself to be a pretty good defensive coach, I mean you could bring in Thibs but with Lebron as your guy, I feel like it would have diminishing returns.

Dude did great this finals. They had 0 shot of winning once Kyrie went down. He did everything he could and was gonna be outmatched no matter what.
And as for Bron not liking him if I remember correctly Blatt was hired before Bron signed.

Blatt is not getting fired!!! He may have to hire some more veteran assistant coaches to help him out with substitution and game planning but he exceeded expectations for his first year on the job. It hard to have an effective strategy when 2 of your best players get hurt during the playoffs.

Dude Bron is not crazy. He is not gonna put his neck out to get some white coach fired. These fools in the media would roast him. Dude will let management make that decision and Gilbert ain't gonna fire one of the greatest coaches in isreal history after he lead the Cavs to the finals.
