B/c shyt got real. If you listen to Quik's interview from last year (or hell just his discography) he even said he was never a gangster and more into music. It was just the Tree Top Pirus he lived around growing up he had no choice but to claim a set. He was always a musician first.

This is such a great interview and he goes into detail about how some things happened the way they did during his career (2nd II None walking away from signing a label deal from Interscope )

late 91-92...eazy n quik was tight...eazy admitted he fukked up when he had his hands on the redtape

eazy said suge n d.o.c didnt know wha they had either...profile was quik last choice..he got it n got paid..

eazy n quik got to talkin..the contract came up...eazy saw quik knew his shyt..n didnt trip about the million plus quik was lookin 4...eazy started showin his interest..he was everywhere quik was...the photos are online..

quik even mention eazy through out the way 2 fonky album...time came for the sit down with eazy quik n profile...profile freaked out..n said no..because they didnt give a shyt bout quik..

they wouldnt even sign penthouse..they said we got enough of la on profile already..so eazy got em...n gave quik 2.5 up front to produce the paid the cost album..

profile pissed because they missed out on a gold album...and they realized who the group was..and one of their own produced it n was ft on it...

they suspended quik...for 3yrs...n sent eazy cease n desist letters...

quik could not produce really anything...suge came..

gave quik work at death row...and at the same time showed him how to dikk profile down...quik got most of what he was owed and then some by manipulatin his credits...

profile saw what it was..they dropped quik n 2nd ii none...quik didnt get dropped until profile saw quik was workin under his government name on all eyes on me...
