Of course he does.

We're not his people.

Far be it for me to throw Aubrey any bail but most top tier rappers/musicians avoid the media like a plague. Who wants Nore interrupting them every 5 seconds and asking them if they eat ass? Who wants Charlemagne telling them live on air that their label doesn’t give a flying 747 F U C K about them and they haven’t heard their album? Who wants Elliot Wilson acting like he’s a bigger star and more important than the artist their to promote their work?

The only black media figures who are any type of good are Big Boy and Sway. The rest are too busy trying to stir up controversy and bullshyt or they want to be the stars themselves.

And at this point in his career the only thing anyone wants to hear from Drake about are getting his ass kicked in the battle or the lawsuit he filed, why would he want to talk about that? Best to save it for the album.

I partially agree, most big time artist do avoid them idiots for that reason. But at the same time if you’re Hiphop and are going to do media, your two main outlets shouldn’t be Adin Ross and that White girl.

Drake does avoid black media.
He has too much uncomfortable questions to answer and an image to protect.

When we went on flex back in da day freestyling off the phone it was embarrasing. Put him into too many open situations like that and he's bound to do or say some dumb shyt.

If Nas and Jayz could do the breakfast club back in da day, so could he.

Charlemagne had open beef with Drake for years. He clowned him any chance he could get at one point. That’s why that line on Back To Back “u gone make me buy bottles for Charlemagne..” was even there. Bottom line son doesn’t owe people who dog him any ratings or sit down time. Hip Hop media is pure trash at this point. Which is why no rap superstars even bother with it. It’s messy af. nikkas would rather go on Jimmy Fallon or some shyt where they won’t get disrespected and potentially fukk up their brand.

He wanted to go on Kai first. Alotta these rap superstars are doing interviews with Fallon n shyt so what’s the difference really? He’s going on platforms where he can control the narrative. Rappers with a lot to lose ain’t taking chances wit these messy ass nikkas no more.
