13 is really a low number consider the vast catalog he has, and the shytload of features he did, and let's not forget he been chasing these hits by going the commercial route all the fukking time.

I'd say Swift single some of them just went #1 off being the first track on the album. I don't think the general public would say Shake It Off is some forgettable track, for instance. Likewise I don't think God's Plan or Hotline Bling are forgettable tracks nobody will care about in x years. They're still being listened to at high levels. Does he have some that will be forgotten like Toosie Slide? Sure. But that's not the norm out of those tracks.

I always think about how people said a bunch of 80s music wouldn't last or was trendy and here we are in 2025...Sussidio and Hungry Like The Wolf and Rhythm Nation didn't magically disappear into the ether. They're still cultural staples large groups of people recognize/appreciate. The music you listened to while partying/fukking/crying/etc in your teens and 20s is always going to matter.
