If the Thunder don't win will be because the bench has failed to step up in the playoffs like they did most of the season while Westbrook was out. I think Westbrook will get a pass for this season. If everyone steps up, OKC should waltz into the finals and see Lebron.

If Durant doesnt win the title, he will still be considered a top 2 player in the league, mvp, and his team will be considered a favorite to win the title next year,one of the faces of the league, on tv the maximum amount of times etc etc

Heat/criticism is such an abstract concept once you're at the top. Its not like he has a chance to be replaced or lose his job or them drafting a replacement.

I think he'll go through it worse then Dirk did as far as winning MVP. And going out the 1st round. Dirk wasn't (could be wrong) considered 1A, 1B as the best player in the league.
