So I’m looking at these highlights.

And maybe I’m crazy but the eye test is always right..... and
I’m still seeing a top 5 NBA pick talent

Let’s forget about his past year at Memphis, his off court problems, and his dad.

Who cares about his wingspan

And if we learned anything from Luka this season you don’t need to be super athletic to dominate the NBA today.

Emoni is still only 18

He’s 6’9. Can dribble. Can shoot. Decent mechanics. Nice footwork (maybe he learned something from penny after all) and most importantly he got that mamba mentality

The only place he can go is up especially assuming y’all still think he’s no longer the “next KD” or “best US high school prospect since lebron” as he was once labeled.

Not saying he’ll be that but these days it more of a compliment to say he’s NOT going to be Lebron or KD.

I’m saying he’s still just as talented to anyone with eyes

Givony has him as a late 2nd rounder and he’s usually on point. I can see a team taking a flyer on him with the 30th pick like they did with Peyton Watson. But then again Peyton Watson got drafted off mesurables. Emoni got a negative wingspan and can’t jump over a phone book + off court issues.

Better hope he can be T Ross, Barton status. If he works hard maybe Rozier

That shot/release could be a lot cleaner along with the dribbling. Looks very Bol Bol-ish but Bol “gets away” with it because he has the height and tools to do whatever the hell he wants now that he’s in a place where he has the green light.

Emoni literally has to continue to quietly ball his ass off and not get into anymore shyt that isn’t bball related.

Doesn’t he pass the eye test tho? Ehhhh.

Mans gotta stick around school for a while and refine everything. All of that hype going into Memphis is officially dead now and we know he’s not KD2023. But right now he looks/feels like a second unit type guy.

The way he can chain moves together + footwork is definitely 1st round quality..and I’m saying that as a nikka who been doubting him from day 1.


His limitations will be physical because every shot he takes has a high degree of difficulty and it’s rare that a nikka can eat off that at the NBA level and I don’t think Emoni will be able to consistently . If he had just average wingspan for his height he’d be a lottery pick .
