A key hormone released during sex is oxytocin, also known as the ‘cuddle hormone’. This lowers our defences and makes us trust people more, says Dr Arun Ghosh, a GP specialising in sexual health at the Spire Liverpool Hospital.
It’s also the key to bonding, as it increases levels of empathy. Women produce more of this hormone, although it’s not clear why, and this means they are more likely to let their guard down and fall in love with a man after sex.
However, the problem is that the body can’t distinguish whether the person we’re with is a casual fling or marriage material — oxytocin is released either way. So while it might help you bond with the love of your life, it’s also the reason you may feel so miserable when a short-term relationship ends.
Men, on the other hand, instead of getting a surge of bonding hormone receive a surge of simple pleasure.
‘The problem is that when a man has an orgasm, the main hormone released is dopamine — the pleasure hormone. And this surge can be addictive,’ says Dr Ghosh.
That’s why so many more men tend to suffer from sex addiction.

I wouldn't care if my main had side pieces and I damn sure don't care about how my side pieces move. My main chick is going to have that spot because were extremely compatible and have the same goals. Those two things, compatibility and shared goals, should be what people focus on when looking for a partner imo. Sex is a big nothing, word to Andy Warhol. Both of us having sex friends is no big deal, as long as were safe(and no oral). Letting great relationships be destroyed because of emotionless sex outside of the union is silly to me.
.
Youre into cuckoldry i see.
The article says both men and women. And I said that there are women that dont act on emotion in sexual relationships(ie strippers and prostitutes) so I'm not sure what you are disagreeing with.Well @AZBeauty, I actually have read up on oxytocin before and if I'm not mistaken, it's something that we both release during sex or even just bonding. I've also seen women move the same way men do, time and time again. So I still disagree.
FALSE
Okay imma throw the flag here, cuzz.
I'm a single man, and I don't have a "stable". Why does that make me "lame or gay"?
