A key hormone released during sex is oxytocin, also known as the ‘cuddle hormone’. This lowers our defences and makes us trust people more, says Dr Arun Ghosh, a GP specialising in sexual health at the Spire Liverpool Hospital.

It’s also the key to bonding, as it increases levels of empathy. Women produce more of this hormone, although it’s not clear why, and this means they are more likely to let their guard down and fall in love with a man after sex.

However, the problem is that the body can’t distinguish whether the person we’re with is a casual fling or marriage material — oxytocin is released either way. So while it might help you bond with the love of your life, it’s also the reason you may feel so miserable when a short-term relationship ends.

Men, on the other hand, instead of getting a surge of bonding hormone receive a surge of simple pleasure.

‘The problem is that when a man has an orgasm, the main hormone released is dopamine — the pleasure hormone. And this surge can be addictive,’ says Dr Ghosh.

That’s why so many more men tend to suffer from sex addiction.

Girl they don't read. They just wait on females to reply so they can argue back and forth with said female about how wrong she is.

Well @AZBeauty, I actually have read up on oxytocin before and if I'm not mistaken, it's something that we both release during sex or even just bonding. I've also seen women move the same way men do, time and time again. So I still disagree.

This isn't true though. Men and women release oxytocin during sex, especially during/after orgasm, and men actually release greater amounts. Men and women also release oxytocin during hardcore workouts, but neither sex feels particularly bonded to workout equipment.

What you are talking about are societal differences in the ways in which males and females are primed to respond to sex, not biological. Most of it has to do with the fact that a man will have sex with a girl he doesn't really like and maybe even finds annoying just for the sex (because society says its 'cool' for him to do that) while a woman might only have sex with a guy she really likes (because society judges her harshly if she does anything less).

But the idea that a woman will have sex with a guy that she doesn't like and finds annoying and suddenly be in love or attached to him is false. The fact is women are just less likely to have sex with guys we don't like off top because of social pressures. Its not the sex that makes the attachment, it was already there.

I wouldn't care if my main had side pieces and I damn sure don't care about how my side pieces move. My main chick is going to have that spot because were extremely compatible and have the same goals. Those two things, compatibility and shared goals, should be what people focus on when looking for a partner imo. Sex is a big nothing, word to Andy Warhol. Both of us having sex friends is no big deal, as long as were safe(and no oral). Letting great relationships be destroyed because of emotionless sex outside of the union is silly to me.

yes and here's why.....after you label a relationship
women get comfortable and we slowly lose the friend
in you because now youre serious and on that..
(you need to show your feelings more bullshyt.)
a woman will never know her man like his hoe
does because his hoe loves him for him.
she loves him enough to suck his dikk knowing
it just marrinated in you a few hours ago.
women wanna keep men real with em stop
changing the horse in the last lap.....
to me the friendship is the most important element to a relationship
because being my chick may not be powerful enough to make me
not wanna pound another chicks cervix into a fine pink paste.....BUT
I never cross (FRIENDS)

The article says both men and women. And I said that there are women that dont act on emotion in sexual relationships(ie strippers and prostitutes) so I'm not sure what you are disagreeing with.

Not technically. A cuckold is a man with an unfaithful wife. If she uses protection and doesn't give head, then she wouldn't be unfaithful in my book. And I'm damn sure not a cuckold by the porn definition. I don't want to be anywhere close, when she's getting her rocks off with one of her hoes.

The article says both men and women. And I said that there are women and who not act on emotion in sexual relationships(ie strippers and prostitutes) so I'm not sure what you are disagreeing with.

You're trying to say that most women, who aren't strippers and or whores become attached to sexual partners because of how they're wired. I disagree with that.

I do agree with @PartyHeart . Imo, women move the way they do because of conditioning. I feel that most women would have no problem moving like a man, as long as people still think they adhere to social norms.
