I wonder if someone who started from nothing and suddenly became rich & famous would be just as big of an a$$hole as someone who already came from money and had no concept of the real world

A-listers seem to be either trained or brought into something "regular celebs" don't even know. Whether its some weird underworld we know nothing of or they are just more trained to deal with things, I don't know.


I would love to say I would not be like that but who knows. Going from living check to check to having acces to every drug,women,club and events in the blink of an eye has to be hard. To be honest I could actually see myself being more of a prick to my friends and fam(not immediate)than randoms on the street. My outside fam has a tendency to be really blunt and talk shyt about you behind your back.

Fame doesn't make you an ass, the pressure of fame does. Cameras not ever given you a moment to yourself seems to get pretty annoying. People interrupting your diner and quality time to ask for autographs and pictures. Having to get fully done up to leave your house just to go grab some Popeyes. it gets old pretty fast having to be a celebrity 24/7.

I don't think anybody would know how they would react to having that fame until they had it. I'd rather be just rich than rich and famous though. As far it turning you into an a$$hole...I don't see indulging in the fruits of your labor as being an a$$hole. I do think if I became famous for something like some lame catch phrase I would be irritable after the 60 thousandth time somebody asked me to say it. Can you imagine how often people hit Gary Coleman with that What You Talkin Bout Willis catch phrase in public?
