Even if they werent decendants of slaves. If they experienced racism during Jim Crow they deserve reparations. Agree or disagree?

Reparations have always been about lost wages for free labor during slavery to me.

Jim Crow era was bad, but black folks still were able to earn income during that time, Only people who should get reparations are ones who had land or businesses stolen during that era due to the jim crow laws. Which if they happened to be immigrants than yeah. (not sure how many that would be though)

But for me in general reparations isn't about jim crow, its about slavery,.

As a 1st Gen Jamaican absolutely not this country was built of the backs of FBA and their strength and resilience in abolitionist and civil rights movements made it possible for ALL immigrant groups to live in this country comfortable today.

Countries that also experienced slavery in the Caribbean need repetitions from the European nations that built wealth off their enforced labor and stole and continue to steal resources from their land

No , but the U.S should give reparations to countries where it has overthrown governments and installed dictators that would work
in favor of U.S corporations , such as Chile with Augusto Pinochet and Noriega in Panama.
Nah, i don't think american tax payers have any obligations to foreign nations. At least not until they first prioritize the people of this country. Would be kinda messed up for Chile to get reparations before black americans. Our debt has been owed for much longer.
